to await is to be kept in the state of abeyance.
abeyance is the state of being suspended or put aside temporarily.

"Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts." Isaiah 26:8

It is only but temporary the fullness of him is kept away.  Perhaps for our sake, in his timing.
We await for the fullness of Your glory. Your beautiful glory. This very thing no one has ever completely grasped nor have the ability to.  It will come.  You will come!

I am humbled for You are still mindful of me.
